To say I've been dealing with what seems to be more than my fair share of stress lately would be an understatement…and frankly, whiney. Stress is part of every day life - ebb and flow…sometimes it washes over you, sometimes it is barely perceptible. Right now…I am balancing on my tip toes to keep my head above water. Household repairs, poor financial decisions, a high tax bill, basic irresponsibility biting me in the butt, sick animals, a sibling in the hospital, a husband with a broken foot and metal shavings in his eye, two cars in need of repair, a penchant for coming down with every bug that comes my way, an overwhelming work load, dwindling social life, another bout of insomnia, crappy neighbors, whiny co-workers, soon to be canceled vacation plans…I'm feeling a bit of pressure =) Activities I normally enjoy have themselves become somewhat of a dreaded prospect…and I'm not entirely sure why.
I smile a lot lately. I have a tendency to bury my own emotions in favor of being functional. “Tomorrow is another day” and all of that rot - I'll think about it then. The more I smile…the harder I am trying to hide the splits forming at my seams…

And as for all the other stuff, geez hun, I'm so sorry! It sounds like you are going through a rough spot. And you're still sick??? Have you been to the doctor??? You poor thing!!
And on another note…I miss you guys!!!!!! I hope it all becomes better soon!
