Recently, Brian Callahan of New Orleans based Sigh Co. Graphics (a gothic/industrial/occult T-shirt company) posted to a local Goth e-List regarding the company’s contribution to the effort to ‘Rebuild New Orleans’. To help drum up funds for several charities Sigh Co. has introduced a new shirt design to their product line-up ~ the ‘Rebuild New Orleans’ T-shirt. For each shirt sold Sigh Co. is splitting a $10 donation (50% of the purchase price) between Tipitina’s Artist Relief Fund and the Lousiana Disaster Recovery Fund.
From sighcographics.com:
This shirt features a satellite image of Hurricane Katrina, the words “Rescue Relief Recover. Rebuild New Orleans, America’s Most Colorful City,” and the fleur-de-lis, symbol of our jewel of a city. Printed in the traditional colors of New Orleans and Mardi Gras - purple for justice, green for faith, and gold for power - this shirt is a tribue to our favorite city, and a wish of speedy recovery for both New Orleans and its people. At the bottom of the design is a line of text that reads: “To find out how you can help, visit www.sighcographics.com/rebuild“
The shirt, available in both T-shirt and babydoll tee styles, can be found ::here::.
A list of ‘local funds’ for direct donations can be found ::here::.
Sigh Co. is currently up and running in Dallas, Texas after being forced to evacuate NOLA due to Hurricane Katrina.
